Hornets On the Box

Hornets On the Box

Watford have seen two fixtures moved in the last week for live TV coverage.

The Hornet's visit to league-leaders Queens Park Rangers has been changed from Saturday December 11th to Friday 10th and will be aired live on BBC. The same clash was of course televised last season, cult hero Lloyd Doyley the hero that day with his first career goal seeing the Hornet's to a 3-1 victory.

The other clash to have been changed is the visit of crisis-club Portsmouth on New Years Day 2011. The game will now kick off at 5.20pm for Sky Sports' convenience.

Watford's last second-tier meeting with Pompey will be exactly eight years to the day, Watford threw away a 2-0 lead that night, handed to them by Neil Cox and Micah Hyde - how time flies!
