Loan Round-up

Of the four Hornet's out on loan only one was on the winning side, that being Colchester United's Liam Henderson who came off the being for the final 23 minutes of his sides win over Tranmere.

The lanky Gateshead-born forward saw his side beat Less Parry's Tranmere Rovers 3-1 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and entered the fray after sixty-seven minutes without managing to add to the scoring.

Fellow League One loanee Rob Kiernan was not involved in Yeovil Town's 3-1 defeat by West Country rivals Exeter City where goals by Richard Logan and Ryan Harley did the damage after the Glovers had levelled Logan's first strike.

In League Two, Mat Sadler started and played the full ninety minutes for Shrewsbury Town as they were pegged back in injury time by Buckinghamshire outfit, Wycombe Wanderers. Former 'Orn Lionel Ainsworth grabbing what looked to be the visitors winner with three minutes to go. The High-flying Shrews currently sit second in the League Two table.

Finally, international man of mystery Jure Travner got another ninety minutes under his belt in the SPL as his St Mirren side crashed at home to Inverness Caley Thistle - former employers of one Don Cowie leaving St Mirren propping up the SPL with just four points.

One footnote - nomadic striker Nathan Ellington has a whopping five goals in eleven appearances for Greek Super League side, Skoda Xanthi who have played just once this season, a 1-1 draw at home to Panionios.
