Hornets deny interest in Man City kid

Watford have categorically denied they are interested in signing Manchester City youngster, Ryan McGivern despite mounting speculation they are keen on drafting the Northern Ireland U21 defender in on loan.

McGivern, who played 15 times on loan at Leicester City last season, had been touted as a potential signing at Vicarage Road in various pieces of tabloid tittle tattle and as the rumour mongers did their worst but speaking through the ever so informative mouthpiece that is the W`Observer, the club have confirmed they 'have no interest` in the player.

It's such a shame as McGivern clearly isn't in Roberto Mancini's plans with the classy Italian having much, much bigger fish to fry these days - hence why Oldham are sniffing about!

Well that`s that then. Let`s hope young Michael Bryan hasn`t spent too much of his time away on International duty enticing McGivern to the delights of WD18 then.
