Watford 'laugh off' Juanjo loan deal

Braveheart Watford boss Malky Mackay has moved quickly to quash rumours from those speculation hungry hounds at Sky Sports that the Hornets have signed Racing Santander striker Juan Jose Exposito Ruiz (aka Juanjo) on a season long loan.

The 6ft2 Spanish striker had been included in Watford`s 2010-2011 squad list by the ever so reliable folk at Sky and a host of online sources were reporting that the 24 year old former Sevilla and Alaves striker was already in WD18 but Mackay has dismissed any reports - even admitting the player hadn`t even been over for a trial!

Something`s clearly been lost in translation!

The W`Observer, who we do trust to get things right (errr, Eustace to Leeds? - ed) now insist Malky is "bewildered" by the rumours and even "laughed off claims" linking Watford to Juanjo.

Quite frankly, after the Sietes debacle and curious case of Jure Travner - International Man of Mystery - Mackay is right to rubbish the reports if there`s nothing in them.

Ok, we do need another striker (or 3) to assist Buckley, Graham, Marvellous Marvin and Massey but let`s face it, this guys net busting record was shocking!!!
