Magpies look to lure Lansbury

Any thoughts Malky Mackay had about bringing Arsenal 'starlet` Henri Lansbury back in on loan next season look a faint possibility now with Newcastle sniffing about.

Not content with already linking Tom Cleverley to St James Park, The Mirror reckon that those pesky Magpies are now "keen to recruit" Lansbury ahead of next season`s return to the promised land…

…if Chris Hughton likes the look of last season`s Watford midfield so much, can we encourage him to bid £2m for wee Stevie McGinn?

Hmmm, let`s face it if Lansbury was offered the chance to rejoin Watford or test himself in the Premiership, it would be a no brainer for Hooray Henri.

All we can hope is that Monsieur Wenger has other ideas!
