'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Harley's on his bike!

Lil` Jon Harley ended his 2 year spell as Watford`s 'Mr Versatility` today as the club confirmed the former Chelsea full back was on the 'released` list at Vicarage Road.

Harley, who joined on a free from Burnley in the summer of `08, has since turned out 83 times for the Hornets in a variety of positions and his departure at WD18 has tinged with air with sadness here at VitalWatford Towers.

Though, in truth, it should have been expected! Lil` Jon has rarely signed a new contract extension at any of the mounting number of clubs he`s been at down the years and his exit has been on the cards for months!

No doubt, as a whole hearted player with bags of commitment, passion, effort, energy and the odd sublime strike in his locker, Harley will find a new home to add to the likes of Sheffield United, MK Dons, W`Ham and Fulham already on his hefty CV.

What price a move to Posh perhaps? That Gary Johnson was keen to trade when he was at Bristol City and Harley could certainly add a certain something to life at London Road.

Good player-too slow but quality and determination in abundance. Right decision-good Millwall signing?
