Lee: 'No hesitation' in joining Bees

Brentford have confirmed that Richard Lee has signed on the dreaded dotted and committed to a 2 year deal after leaving Watford... though there is STILL no word from the Hornets 'fficial team yet!

Speaking to the League One Bee`s 'fficial website, Rich reckons he`s "seen and heard good things about the club", admitting he's "very impressed" and "had no hesitation in signing".

All in all, Lee insists he "really can`t wait" to get between the sticks for Andy Scott`s men, which must be music to ears of the coaching staff at Griffin Park.

Lee, who`s departure leaves Watford short of decent back up for England U21 international, Scott Loach, stated "It`s a fantastic challenge for me...It`s also a big step having been with Watford since I was eleven".

Good luck Richard. What price Arsenal youngster Wojciech Szczsney on loan for the season in WD18 now?

To be fair to Richard, he has been number 2 for quite long now and I agree with his decision to leave.

I understand his decision entirely and it is good to see that MM has told the W'Observer that he didn't want to stand in Richard's way...
