'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blizzard Due At Watford?

Watford physio Andy Rolls has been talking about the virus that has kept Dominic Blizzard laid low since September.

The player is said to be making good progress, but is still some way short of regaining match fitness.

Rolls said the 22 year old midfielder will then have to face another pre-season type training routine to get him back in contention.

He added, on the official website: 'Dominic's had exposure to a virus and it's clear, scratching below the surface of the problem, that he's actually had the virus for a few years. Fortunately we haven't found anything too specific which is good news. He is now in a state of post-viral fatigue. Dominic's starting to get on the road to recovery but it will be a good few weeks before he's back fully involved in training and matches.'

Blizzard said 'I've been so annoyed to be away from football. It's been such a frustrating time for me, but I'm starting to make progress now.'

Must have been torture to not be able to be involved in such a great start to the season.
