'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Is Watford grass greener for Boyce

Blink and you might have missed it but Watford 'remain` in the running for Northern Ireland U21 striker Liam Boyce after inviting the Cliftonville frontman over for a trial.

Boyce, who`s agent is former Hornet, Jamie Moralee, has been linked to a clutch of Championship clubs - including Leicester City, Middlesborough and Swansea - but it`s the Hornets who are in the driving seat according to many a source online…

Somewhat surprisingly, Boyce has also been linked to La Liga giants Barcelona and Espanyol as well as fancy French outfit Monaco but these reports have been quickly quashed by Cliftonville!

Ol` Boyce[y] is described as a pacy, no-nonsense frontman with good vision and his gaffer at Cliftonville reckons "he will be a star", insisting "signing him would not be a gamble"...

Let`s hope that Lee Hodson and Little Mickey Bryan can get a word in his earhole and promote all things 'Watford` whilst they are away together with the Ireland U19 and U21 squads then.
