Feast of L2 friendlies for Watford

Watford can look forward to a feast of League Two outings in Pre-season after it was announced they will face Northampton, Aldershot and Barnet during July.

The Hornets have confirmed they will travel to face the Cobblers at Sixfields (and catch a glimpse of the striker that got away in former trainee, Ryan Gilligan) on 24th July.

Then 3 days later, Malky Mackay`s men will then head to Hampshire for a Wednesday night appointment with Aldershot Town on 27th July.

Our annual visit to Barnet will take place, as announced previously, on July 21st.

Watford are quick to point out that should the Hornets drawn any of the 3 sides out of the League Cup 1st Round velvet bag, then the friendly will be cancelled.

Gilligan is a midfielder now, and don't expect much from him!
