Watford and Palace fined

Watford and Crystal Palace have both been fined for the play-off semi-final fracas at Vicarage Road.

The 40-man brawl, which involved virtually every member of both teams playing and coaching staff, happened when Fitz Hall appeared to elbow Watford Boss Aidy Boothroyd.

The Hornets have been fined £35,000 while Championship outfit Crystal Palace have been fined £42,000 - reflecting their role in the touchline incident after both clubs admitted to FA charges of failing to control their players and officials.

What difference does a monetary fine make. Take points off teams, that is the only way to stop them behaving like spoilt brats.
