'Play your strongest QPR XI' - Hart
Oh dear, Neil Warnock only hinted that he may give a few untested youngsters a run out against Watford tonight and already it`s set alarm bells ringing at Selhurst Park…
…and you can bet your life, there will be an anxious glance at the Not So Super Hoops teamsheet up at Hillsborough to boot!
In fact, Warnock`s admission that he might just blood a few of the talented QPR kids - rather than a few of the loan stars - has opened up a right ol` can of worms as the relegation battle hots up.
This one could run and run if QPR do field a weakened team AND Watford pick up some valuable points after Crystal Palace boss, Paul Hart, fired in an early warning shot, urging Warnock to give the Hornets relegation rivals a fighting chance.
Hart told the London Evening Standard "We would hope QPR will put out their strongest team. Clubs have to stay honest with their selections at this stage of the season…I would not try to pick Neil Warnock`s best team. We just hope it`s their strongest".
So, after Wolves got slammed with a fine for fielding a weakened team against Man Utd earlier this season, all eyes will be on the teamsheet at Loftus Road this evening.
Malky Mackay has admitted whatever side QPR put out "it`s never going to be easy" but a note to Watford - just beat what is put in front of you…even if the unfamiliar names of Balanta, Josh Parker and Antonio German do appear!
