Interest hots up for Hornets loan star

Interest hots up for Hornets loan star

On loan Watford starlet Clever Tom Cleverley might well want to be "part of the Manchester United squad next season" but Premier League big boys and a clutch of squabbling Championship contenders are already eyeing him up

…the thing is, those meddling hacks on some of the country`s finest sports desks just can`t decide on who`s in the running should Sir Alex release the England U21 international for another loan spell next season.

According to the middle classes paper of choice - The Daily Mail - Clever Tom is on the wanted list of Bolton and Birmingham with Championship side Preston also sniffing about.

Whilst over at The Mirror, the tittle tattle adds top table feasters Fulham, Sunderland and Everton to the "eager" list with Sheffield United, Cardiff and Newcastle keeping a close eye on proceedings.

So, as they used to say on Blind Date, Fergie - 'the choice is yours`!

Doubt he'll ever make it at United though in fairness.

Oooo I'm not sure I agree WFC123... I think Cleverley could cut it at Old Trafford. He certainly has the desire to play which is always a start and he is better suited to PL life than Eagles or Webber ever were. It's just whether United continue to pay big for continental wingers or not!
