'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hereford Snare Young

Twenty-one year-old Hornet Lewis Young has today joined League Two side Hereford United on loan for a month.

The Academy graduate will follow in the footsteps of 'greats' such as Toumani Diagouraga and Theo Robinson, both of whom spent the 07/08 season on loan at Edgar Street. Former 'Orns Lionel Ainsworth and Trevor Benjamin also spent time with the Bulls.

The younger brother of Ashley Young, now plying his trade with Villa and England has only made one league appearance for the 'Orns in a Boxing Day defeat to Bristol City having made his debut in a narrow Carling Cup win versus Bristol Rovers in the same campaign.

A winger-cum-forward by trade, Young is out of contract at the end of the season and a month spent with Graham Turner's strugglers at the sharp end of football will be crucial first team experience for him all being well.

Good luck Lewis!
