Baby boom good for Will - Malky

Baby boom good for Will - Malky

Braveheart Watford boss, Malky Mackay reckons Will 'The Answer` Hoskins has "matured and settled down" after having a lil' baby - and that bundle of joy has really helped his football.

The former Rotherham United man has been frozen out of action at Vicarage Road under Mackay for long periods this season and even Malky admitted he was "delighted for Will" when Hoskins netted the winner in Tuesday`s crunch match with Ipswich Town.

Speaking of the former Nottingham Forest and Millwall loanee, Mackay stated "Will has been close to getting in the team in the last couple of weeks…He`s matured this season - he`s had a child with his partner and settled down".

But there was still a word of caution from Malky, who - like a lot of fans - questioned Hoskins er` will power to put in the hard graft required to cut it in the Championship. Mackay added "He undoubtedly has the talent but it`s also about work rate and we have seen that recently."

Does work rate = attitude? What do you think?

Will Hoskins be offered a new contract in the summer or is he putting himself in the shop window to walk away?
