Posh boss: I know why Watford concede

New Peterborough boss, Jim Gannon, has turned up the heat on an already rather tasty 6-pointer at Vicarage Road on Saturday, insisting he knows exactly why Watford can`t stop leaking goals!

Even despite the 6ft4 sized addition of Martin Taylor at the heart of their backline, the Hornets have one of the worst defences in the Championship - shipping 50 goals in 33 games - and Gannon reckons he`s pinpointed the problem…

Gannon told the 'fficial Posh Player "I watched the DVD from the [Watford] game earlier in the season and you can see why Watford concede goals and it is up to us to exploit it" .

…well, hopefully after Saturday`s ding dong of a relegation dogfight is done and dusted, the Posh boss will give Malky Mackay the benefit of his wisdom!

Our Braveheart boss insists he takes much of what Gannon has had to say in the pre-match build up "with a pinch of salt" but we can only hope the Hornets boss listens if the occasion arises.

The Posh boss went on to add "Watford are a side that mix it up a bit, they have had a bit of rough set of results, but on their day, they can cause anyone problems.

Hmmm, here's to a clean sheet then!!!

So does anyone watching us: 1. Loach rarely commands situations verbally 2.J E is currently struggling for pace and so runners at our back four get behind him 3..MT/JDM are not totally clear in their roles,EX,MT got outjumped a lot v Swansea but JDM & AM were not anticipating attackers nodding it on. 4. Full backs getting little help from wingers-DC will run alongside an attacjker but rarel;y puts his foot in to win it & JH is just too slow. 5. Our lack of pace & attacking belief recently allows teams to attack us without much fear of being exposed themselves-hopefully TC will help rectify this.

Points 1,2 and 3 clearly applied to the goal!
