Lee Loan Rejected

Hornet`s number two stopper Richard Lee has had the chance to join Wycombe Wanderers on loan rebuffed by Malky Mackay.

The Hornet`s Academy graduate has made just two Carling Cup appearances this season and has not featured for the first team since August.

A loan bid from Gary Waddock`s League One Wycombe Wanderers outfit was `turned down flatly` by the Hornet`s who are evidently not prepared to let Lee get some game time under his belt in spite of the fact his contract runs out at the end of the current campaign.

With youngster Jonathan North away on loan at Oxford City, Lee leaving on loan would leave only Scott Loach and Academy stopper, Jonathan Bond on the books for the run in to the end of the season.

In other news, youngsters Jordan Parkes and Billy Gibson have both joined Eddie Howe`s high-flying Bournemouth on trial. Gibson has recently been on loan at local side Harrow and Wealdstone where he enjoyed rave reviews whilst Parkes has scarcely had a sniff of action since a similar trial period at Gillingham over the Summer.

At present, Bournemouth cannot sign any players due to a Football League transfer embargo, but are looking at targets should the embargo be lifted.

I hope we re-sign Lee as Loach will be sold this summer and Lee is a decent keeper at our level.
