Hornets date with Palace postponed
Watford supporters will really have no excuse for not treating their loved one to a Valentines weekend to remember now that the home clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday 13th February has been postponed - all thanks to the romance of the FA Cup.
The Hornets have confirmed that the match-up with Neil Warnock`s Eagles will be re-arranged - with no second date agreed as yet - as Palace will hope to avoid a 5th Round 'Valentines Day massacre` at the hands of Aston Villa on 14th February after dispatching Wolves in last night`s 4th Round replay.
Watford fans will now, no doubt, be hitting the websites looking for a last minute loved up mini-break bargain to set the right mood or a ever so romantic trip to the theatre with a candle lit meal for 2 now that their love of watching 11 men in yellow shirts can`t be fulfilled.
Ah, Mrs Dr Watford will be soooo pleased.
