Kiernan and Severin join Killie

On a busy day of 'outs' for the Hornet's, it has been confirmed that both Scott Severin and Rob Kiernan have joined SPL strugglers Kilmarnock on loan deals until the end of the season.

Severin has struggled to hold a place down in the side thanks to the rejuvination of John Eustace as the holding midfielder and a calf injury which hindered his progress early in his Hornet's career. In total he has managed just seven starts and five sub appearances. His solitary goal came in the Carling Cup defeat of Barnet.

The move comes just hours after we were at VitalWatford tours broke the news before any other Watford sites, including the official effort; proving once again we really do have our fingers jammed in the socket of footballing electricity!

Also, youngster Rob Kiernan has joined Kilmarnock as expected after a successful trial week spent north of the border with Jimmy Calderwood's side. The Republic of Ireland U19 captain has only recently switched to central defence having previously plied his trade in the middle of the park, and will be able to cut his teeth in the game on loan with the 11th placed SPL club.

Good luck to both Scott and Rob!
