Scott Sev-ers his ties with Watford?

Out-of-favour Hornet's midfielder Scott Severin has apparently signed a loan deal with SPL strugglers Kilmarnock until the end of the campaign.

The thirty year-old central midfielder has been out of favour for a while now following a combination of injury and the impressive form of John Eustace who has taken on the holding role in midfield.

Severin has made just four starts and five substitute appearances in the league with a further two starts from the cup competitions.

There has been nothing said by either club's official site and nothing from any other media outlet other than Soccerbase, perhaps it's just transfer tittle tattle.

However it's likely the fifteen cap Scot earns a fair wage at the Vic' and with McGinn and Buckley boosting our midfield options during January, maybe a move has been agreed.

Now on the official site.... Hmmm Scott must now surely be added to the list of bad signings in recent times - I'm just thankful we didn't spend a fortune on him.

defo doc, that was the only good thing about the deal,Not paying a large fee.nial quinn said the tranfer window, is not doing clubs any favors, manager's are rush buying to get someone in, that might not be up to scratch. I think scott severin is a good example of that.I do think watford (malky) has done very well this window. loaned out the players that are not needed and brought in some experienced quality in martin taylor, young potential, will buckley, steve quinn. should steady the ship.sheff utd good side,i think we might just edge it at home,if not a draw would be a good result.

Severin looked a sensible signing to add experience and cover at both Centre half & midfield. However Malky clearly expected Eustace to go but by staying he has stopped SS playing. SS will not come back from the Killies.
