Hornets date with Holloway moved

Hornets date with Holloway moved

Remember how you cursed that illogical, mad old fixture generating machine when it produced (with a wry smile no doubt) a 480 mile, 8 hour round trip to Blackpool on a Tuesday night in January for the die hard glory hornet boys amongst us?

Well, hold your kiss me quick hats guys cos so did Watford and Blackpool! That`s why the caring, sharing, supporter friendly people at the 2 clubs have gotten together to pull the game forward by 3 whole days to Saturday 23rd January...

Ok, there`s the small fact that neither Malky Mackay`s men nor Ian Holloway`s Tangerine army have little else to do on the date pencilled into the calendar for FA Cup 4th Round weekend these days but we won`t let that get in the way...

Minor detail - it`s a luxury that neither Chelsea or Ipswich can enjoy!

Still, a Friday night out admiring the illuminations and a proper, old fashioned Saturday 3pm kick off at Bloomfield Road to entertain the missus then and even the local cop shop are happy- what more could we ask for...

Bet it`s rained off (or snowed off) now that the B&Bs booked!
