Bristol City Preview - Away, Dec 28th

After a vastly improved performance at home to Billy Davies high-flying Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Malky Mackay's Golden Boys travel down the West Country to face Bristol City.

The Robins have had an up-and-down season to say the least, but are currently perched in 12th place.

Johnson will be without former Celtic midfielder Evander Sno who has flown back to his homeland, Holland, due to a family bereavement. Also unavailable is Gary Johnson's son, Lee, who has a chest infection. Marvin Elliott could well step up from bench after he returned to the squad on Saturday.

Watford are without Ross Jenkins who is recovering from a back operation, whilst fellow midfielder Don Cowie is doubtful after being subbed with a knock against Forest. Craig Cathcart has returned to Manchester United with a knee problem.

Helguson and Lansbury look set to make their final Hornet's appearances for now as their loan spells expire before the Chelsea clash.
