'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Christmas comes early!

On December 31st this year, Nathan Ellington will leave the Golden Boys for a second time on loan to join Greek outfit Skoda Xanthi.

The Bradford-born misfit will remain with the Greek side until December 31st 2010 - a whole 12 months where the Hornet's will not need to service his rumoured 25k p/week wages!

Ellington previously left last season to join Derby on loan for the season but scored just three league goals for the Rams and scarcely featured after Christmas. Nigel Clough eventually declining to sign the 'Duke' on a free.

Xanthi will have the same option to take the striker full time should his loan period prove successful.

We'd love to take this chance to wish him all the best in his future career, but any player that gives as little effort in a Goldenboys jersey as he, doesn't deserve it frankly.

Here's hoping however that he'll do well enough over there to sign permanently though!
