Redknapp planning Loach swoop?

'Arry Redknapp looks set to kick a club whilst they're down and make a cut-price £1.5million swoop for goalkeeper Scott Loach who has been attracting the Premiership club's interest since the Summer.

The likeable Tottenham gaffer has lost backup Carlo Cudicini for the season and with only goalden oldie Jimmy 'Wacko' Walkers PLUS youngsters Ben Alnwick, Oscar Janssen and Mirko Ranieri available needs cover, apparently...

Now we say cut price, and £1.5million is an exagerration of the young man's value, but the £6million figure being touted around in the most definitly was! And that came after his horror show in the U21 European Championship's Final, so we reckon £1.5m is a tad low 'Arry, even for a club as skint as this!

However it's worth remembering that we would owe a slice of any transfer fee, believed the be around 25% mark to Loach's former club, Lincoln, so obviously the Russo's will want to push up any fee to cover that chunk.

This story is however being covered by The Sun newspaper, hence the reliability may not be all that great...

As much as i would like loach to be the the teams number 1 for year's to come,i think it is certain he will be elsewere maybe even come january given the money situation. scott is a very good keeper with geat promise.1.5 million sounds a good old joke, But in truth i think were end up taking that.Look on the bright side we still got a good keeper in richard lee,and although i have not seen them play jonathan north and bo antal are meant to be decent keepers coming through the ranks.
