Watford head Pilgrim Jase chase

Watford head Pilgrim Jase chase

The dog eared sports hacks down at The Mirror reckon Watford set to operate "the escape hatch" on Jason Puncheon`s loan spell at MK Dons after apparently making an official bid to Plymouth!

The Hornets are believed to have offered the Home Park moneymen £150k for the Croydon born flyer who has never played for the Pilgrims since he was bought from Barnet.

Well, at least £150K is a little more realistic to the £1.5m quoted in the News of the World just over a week ago (Devon knows where they got that sum from!)

Puncheon admits 'he`s enjoying life' with the concrete cows at Stadium:MK after 3 goals in 16 outtings this term and by all accounts Paul Ince wants to keep him with the Dons.

Still, after declaring it "frustrating not to be given a chance at Plymouth", the pacy winger might see his future back in the Championship .

Seems a decent enough player when you read fans opinion but, hmmm, it all smells a bit like the Albert Jarrett transfer fiasco a few seasons back - and we know how that turned out!

I've never really send him play... I wouldn't know if he is any good or not... Lets wait & see what develops...

Not sure what to make of this, our squad is small although we do have some players surplus to requirements. However I would've thought retaining Lansbury & H would be our immediate priority.Maybe paper talk...Come on You Golden Boys
