Watford-Scunthorpe: Team News

Having written a more elaborate match preview for this afternoon's game then seen it lost due to the crashing of my laptop, I didn't have the will to re-write it. So here's some team news instead.

Scunthorpe are without young midfielder Josh Wright, the former Charlton man has a cold and will miss this afternoon's clash. Also out is regular left back Marcus Williams who is sidelined with a leg problem.

No.1 Joe Murphy will also sit out the game after he was sent off against Blackpool a fortnight ago. His replacement, Josh Lillis was hardly convincing, so here's to some early pressure for the young deputy.

Finally, striker Gary Hooper is welcome back into the fray.

Watford are still without long-term injury concerns Jay DeMerit and Ross Jenkins who are still 'weeks' as apposed to days away from recovery.

Jonathan Bond could be set to relinquish his spot on the bench as Richard Lee is back in full training but nothing is definite.
