'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lansbury's a Lion

Ahead of a double header with Portugal and Lithuania, England U21 boss Stuart Pearce has added Henri Lansbury to his squad.

The versatile Arsenal midfielder joins teammates Tom Cleverley and Scott Loach in the young Lions squad along with fellow late addition Dan Gosling.

Lansbury's form has taken a sharp upturn of late and a double against Sheffield Wednesday has been followed up with the assist for Cleverley's goal against Preston last Saturday.

Pleasingly, the midfielder has also confirmed he would like to remain at the Vic' until the end of the season, if Watford still want me - how modest, and a no-brainer really, I'm sure all Hornet's fans would join me in adding Lansbury and Cleverley to their Xmas lists!
