Hodson pens new deal

Academy startlight and surprise breakthrough boy Lee Hodson yesterday penned a brand new three year professional contract.

Since making his first team debut at the end of last season, the 18 year-old has been a first team fixture, playing both the Hornet's Carling Cup ties this season. Since the 2-1 reverse at Elland Road the Ulsterman has been an ever present.

Hodson is one of a number of Academy success stories at Vicarage Road currently playing alongside two more in Lloyd Doyley and Aidy Mariappa, that in the backline alone. Formerly a forward with hometown club Borehamwood, Hodson is a feature in the Northern Ireland U21 setup to boot.
