Boothroyd to extend O'Toole loan

Aidy Boothroyd has confirmed he hopes to extend the loan of Watford's young midfielder, John-Joe O'Toole.

O'Toole has been a virtual ever-present at the Weston-Home Community Stadium after arriving the day that former Hornet's gaffer Aidy did. It is likely the Irish U21 international will remain with the Essex side until the end of the current campaign.

In that time O'Toole has scored once and seen the side unbeaten until they came unstuck in a narrow defeat at Millwall last weekend.

The loans of Kevin Lisbie, and Kayode Odejayi, he of an uncanny knack of scoring at the 'Vic, also look set to be extended by the U's manager.
