Pompey 'owe other English clubs'

Pompey 'owe other English clubs'

Another day brings more bad news for Portsmouth fans as Paul Hart's side have been banned from making any new signings.

Having last week heard how their latest Dubai-based cowboy owner [Ali Al-Faraj, in case you'd forgotten], knows 'nothing about football' and is 'just looking to make a quick profit'.

Today though, Portsmouth were blocked by the Premier League from signing journeyman Football League midfielder, Eugene Bopp on a freebie as they 'still owe other English clubs'.

Having sold £4.8million worth of talent, and Mike Williamson to Portsmouth over the Summer, with the promise of only some of that sum up front, the Hornet's hierachy will no doubt be sweating in their fine Italian silk suits.

Heavily-overworked Pompey spokesperson, Paul Double has however confirmed the situation 'should be resolved quickly'.

All this makes Graham Simpson seem like a positively Angelic owner!

Whilst it is a concern with what is happening at Pompey, I am sure the Russo's will be monitoring very closely. Simpson a crooked Angel more like, but one with a lot more money than he had before he got his grubby hands on our club. anyone know if Simpson Travel is still going?

There's not really enough info to make a story out of it, but Julian Winter has confirmed to the Watford Observer that we've recieved the Tommy Money. No mention of the money for Williamson.
