Russo wants Ashcroft to 'Come to the table'

He's the Hornet's majority shareholder with over 37% of the club's shares in his portfolio, yet you've probably forgotten or never known the Conservative MP has anything to do with the Hornets.

The man in question is Lord Michael Ashcroft who came on board when all was merry and well and ,b>Graham Simpson was aiming for a European spot within ten years! (Another of his great plans). That's BILLIONAIRE, Lord Michael Ashcroft, don't ya know!

Speaking at the Fans Forum, Head Salad boy Jimmy Russo invited Ashcroft to come to the table by confirming he would also dig further into his vastly expanding pocket.

"I`m quite prepared to put my money in, provided Lord Ashcroft is prepared to put his money in.

"We still need to sit down, hopefully before the end of the month and it`s down to Lord Ashcroft whether he contributes to the club`s position going forward or he doesn`t.

"I can`t speak for him but I`m prepared to put my money where my mouth is, however, it`s down to him.

"But we have also got assets that are worth a lot of money. It shouldn`t be seen as we are going to have to sell all our best players that we have." Said Russo

Russo has pumped £3.7m in since taking over as Chairman in March to help the 'Orns avoid Administration three times, and loaned even more prior to that as a Director. Ashcroft has yet has failed to stump up anymore than he paid for his shares in the Simpspon-Cash-ton era.
