H move closer

Q.P.R's current warmer of the manager's seat, Jim Magilton has confirmed that Heidar Helguson is aware of Watford's interest in the Icelandic hitman.

The former Hornet's hitman is out of favour at Loftus Road after just six goals and one this season since arriving this January from Bolton.

Magilton: "They [Watford] are keen and I`ve let Heidar know they`re interested,"

"I`ll talk to the player again and we`ll go from there."

According the Watford Observer Helguson could make the loan move as early as tomorrow with the international fixtures over this evening.

It had also been reported that another former Hornet in Gavin Mahon might be making the move back to Vicarage Road having left back in January 2008 after a fall from grace under Aidy Boothroyd.

Finally, fellow Hoop, Patrick Aygemang is also beeing linked, all be it loosely, with a move to Vicarage Road on a three month loan after form and fitness problems have seen him slip down the pecking order.

Anyone know how many loans we can make at any one time??

You can have as many as you want, but a maximum of five in the squad on a matchday, only 4 players U23 on short-term loans [92days] and 4 U23 players on long-term loans [more than 92days].

Not sure i like the idea of H coming back, He was and will be a favourite of mine, but he is out injured at the moment and you gotta think that his best days are behind him, but hey, if he can lift the spirits of the fans, it would be no bad thing.
