Deadline Day gossip - #2

Deadline Day gossip - #2

The second update of a busy afternoon on Transfer Deadline Day sees Celtic centre half Darren O'Dea sign a new deal with the Bhoys before flying South to join Judas Rodgers at Reading on a loan deal until January.

Interestingly, the Bhoys defender confirmed Brendan Who [?] had tried to sign him previously whilst at WD18:

"Brendan Rodgers, who is the manager at Reading, had tried to get me before when he was at Watford and I know a lot about him. I've spoken to him and he's a great manager.'

We think he's overdoing the 'great manager' bit after just 10 months in the game, but once again Brendan's little black book extends only to former Hornets and former targets!

Meanwhile a former Hornet has been on the move as reported yesterday as Leigh Bromby has penned a deal at Elland Road having only re-joined the Blunts from Watford this Summer!

Finally, according to some sources, including Q.P.R ClubCall, the Iceman, AKA, Heidar Helguson himself has agreed a deal to return to Vicarage Road, no official news just yet, but here's to 'no smoke without fire'...

BBC 3CR Mentioned this today and a certain co commentator talking as if this is very likely to happen when the loan market opens again next week. Looking like a 3 month initial loan deal.
