'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Deadline Day gossip - #1

Wolves outcast Darren Ward - the 'dazz`ling centre back that many Glory Hornet boy want back at Vicarage Road - is being linked as a makeweight in a deal that could see Joe Ledley taken out of his Cardiff comfort zone and carried kicking and screaming to Molineux.

Plymouth have joined the race to sign Barnet winger Albert Adomah - though VitalWatford would like to advise that Underhill flyer that he wouldn`t look good in green.

Booboys sweetheart Jordan Stewart is to uproot from Derby and join the ever growing former Hornet ranks at Sheffield United.

Chris Baird - the Northern Irish international who popped into WD18 on loan for a while a few seasons back - is the target of interest from WBA, Forest (isn`t everyone) and Sheffield United… Seems Fulham can`t guarantee him a game.

Billy biscuit Bouazza appears really close to agreeing personal terms at Blackpool, who would pull off a bit of a coup if they snare him on a free. Coventry won't be too impressed as they also want him.

Plenty of speculation that Pompey have moved for defender Tal Ben Haim - a move which would surely push Williamson down the pecking order.

There`s even a wag on the BBC message boards who reckon Watford are gonna announce the signing of Heider Helguson on loan for 3 months…. Then again, he`s a Not so Super Hoops fan who appears disillusioned with what H offers QPR.
