Cleverley makes smart move to Watford

Forget the lil` black of contacts of a former Chelsea reserve team coach, Braveheart Watford boss, Malky Mackay, has gone straight to the top to reinforce the creative edge in his midfield.

The Hornets have snapped up rip roaring, free scoring Manchester United youngster, Tom Cleverley, on a 5 month loan with the blessing of Sir Alex, who had been Malky`s reference at his interview at Vicarage Road.

The Red Devil hot prospect has not made a senior appearance for the Premier League Champions elect but is an England U20 regular, has frequently scored goals for the Young Lions and spent a few months impressing on loan at Leicester last season so has league experience.

Manchester United chief, Ferguson, was in two minds about sending Cleverley back out on loan after the youngster stole the show in a pre-season win (and a goal) against Spanish giants Valencia and had apparently caught the eye of a host of Premier League clubs.

So the Hornets, who have always had a strong working relationship with Old Trafford, should count themselves priviledged that Sir Alex trusts them with a player who clearly has a big future.

Good move and nice one Malky, will bring much needed creativity to midefield and should enable Jenkins to revert to the role he performed so well in last season. Get ready for a few departures though.... Come on You Golden Boys!
