Ipswich deny bid for Watford hitman

Ok so Sky Sports reckon Ipswich had a £1m bid for Tamas Priskin turned away by Watford and the Hornets had priced the Hungarian hitman out of the Tractor Boys` reach.

But 'sWitch gaffer Roy Keane is having none of it, insisting that "not aware" that any bid was even submitted.

The whole Tamas to the Tractor Boys has been on the speculation merri-go-round for much of the week after the Daily Mail suggested that Keano was er, keen on the Watford frontman as a replacement for Huddersfield-bound Jordan Rhodes

'sWitch fans were even getting just a little bit excited about the arrival of Priskin…though questions were being raised if he was in fact the 20-goal a season man they were actually after.

Still, Tamas is no stranger to speculation. He started the summer with his agent touting him around Europe with reported interest from the Budesliga, Middlesborough, F`lem and er Hull (but who isn`t linked with the KC these days?)…

Braveheart Watford boss reckons he`s got a bit part to play in WD18 this season but he`s yet to sign a new contract and could walk away on a free next June…

Cash in now or play the waiting game and see if continues his rich vein of form?
