Will lil' Jon be Watford's windfall?

Will lil' Jon be Watford's windfall?

Watford could be on the verge of a surprise £500k windfall that would have the Vicarage Road moneymen laughing all the way to the bank… that`s if lil` Jon Harley signs on the dreaded dotted up at the City Ground.

Ok, so when the Daily Mail reported that the 3ft4 former Chelsea and Burnley 'Mr Versatile` was on his way to Nottingham Forest for a cool ½ million we admit we almost spit out our bacon sandwich this morning - but you know what the rumour is gathering pace.

Forest fans across the web reckon it`s a done deal and could be sealed as early as Monday though the fee seems to be a bit of a mystery with some suggesting it could be £100k.

Still, as much as we like lil` Jon, any extra chunk of unexpected cash into the club coffers for a free transfer signing who`s warmed the bench for much of his time in WD18 would be indeed welcome…

For the reported £500k mind you, the VitalWatford boys would drive him up the M1 ourselves (and even hire the van).

Not a cat in hells chance of getting £500k for Harley, useful squad member but that's about it. More concerned about the likes of Smith & Priskin not departing before the window closes ....

JH should stay... If we do get 500k or not we wont spend that on players it will just get swallowed up by the Chelsea supporting board we have at the Vic.. Maybe they could hand out a free salad at the next home match against Rovers.. If JH wants out then that's a different story... I can't see selling for the sake of it is a thing to get excited about... That's just my view.. I might be wrong..
