'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dirty Leeds eye Watford 'warrior'

Watford outcast John Eustace - once dubbed a "warrior" when he was signed by former Hornets boss Aidy Boothroyd - is a target for Leeds United, according to Sky Sports.

Eustace, who with his big wages and aging legs looks to have an uncertain future at Vicarage Road, turned down the chance of regular League One footie in January when he snubbed a move to Brighton but a switch to Elland Road is a different kettle of fish altogether.

Sky reckon that Leeds boss Simon Grayson is "a big admirer or Eustace" and there`s plenty of positive comments coming in from the fans board who see the former Cov and Stoke skipper as a solid, reliable if unspectacular signing.

Watford have already drafted in a direct replacement for Eustace in the shape of ex-Aberdeen midfield general Scott Severin though Warrior John has featured during pre-season.

Reports suggest that Leeds "could step up their interest in Eustace" if (and that`s a big IF) Fabien Delph leaves for pastures new.

Blimey - an old battled bruised warhorse for a whipper snapper with bags of potential. Seems a good deal to us.

A good title if you want Leeds fans attention... I think he would be a good addition to our squad

hehehe absolutely Gromjo! Already got plenty of flame into the ol' inbox from fans completely missing the point of headlines that grab the attention. I think Eustace would be a good signing for any League One outfit and also reckon he could still do a job in the Championship!

The few players Simon G has brought to ER so far have not let us down. If he rates Eustace this highly that`s good enough for me. MOT

leeds would be a good club for eustace,he is way down the pecking order at watford. Although he has featured alot in the pre-season friendly's so far.Can not see him starting ahead of don cowie and ross jenkins,or even john joe o'toole,if he stays..
