Hungarian hitman 'happy to stay'

Hungarian hitman 'happy to stay'

Glory Hornets striker Tamas Priskin refuses to rule out a move away from the club but does insist he "feels very good in Watford" and actually admits that he "missed the team" during the close season….

…then again he also hints that he "wouldn`t mind" being reunited with Brendan Who? in deep dark Berkshire, which, let`s face it, wouldn`t go down at all well with the fans.

Priskin, who went from booboy favourite to Vicarage Road sweetheart in a mere matter of months last season told the Nemzeti Sport team in his native Hungary "I enjoyed playing football in the last couple of months and after our summer holiday I missed the team and the atmosphere of the club".

And the man who proved he is capable of being the best natural finisher to grace a Watford shirt since er, Kevin Phillips, added "I`m also happy to stay because Malky Mackay and I were team-mates last year so we`ve got a good relationship".

It`s all good hear Tamas but your agent is still pitching you around the whole of Europe with a host of Bundesliga outfits reportedly keen and ready to make a move. Not that the new kid off the Eastern Block would know anything about it though.

He stated "My contract will expire in 2010 and I don`t have any information about if my club was negotiating about my departure with any club".

Hull City, Sunderland and Middlesborough are also linked to the Hungarian hitman as the red-top rumour mongering merry-go-round gets into swing so no wonder Priskin is keeping his options open.

He even added that he "wouldn`t mind working with my previous trainer again" amid speculation Brendan Who? might return to take Priskin to Reading….

A move to Stuttgart or Wolfsburg might just be accepted Tamas but a move to the Madjeski and you really will become a target for the fans fury!

Im not convinced he will be here either, very good player lacks abit of strengh maybe, but he has bags of pace and great technique on the ball. One of them players who on his off days is barely noticeable,on a good day could create and score goals against any team in this division. Does seem to get court off-side alot
