Watford about to be royally Rodgered

Watford are "resigned to losing" Brendan Rodgers according to many a source today after a compensation package worth more than £500k has "all but been agreed" with Reading.

With the Horents board refusing to comment and John Madjeski (named after a stadium presumably) failing to dispel rumours, the writing appears on the wall at Vicarage Road with Rodgers reign set to end less than 8 months after it only began.

Oh how Rodgers must love being loved… Reading lined up ONLY 7 managers for the position and have turned to him after being scared off Darren Ferguson by Posh owner Barry Fry…. (and who can blame him - Scary!)

The GetReading website reckon that only steps left are for the Royals to agree personal terms with the Northern Irishman, who just 7 days ago, said "[I] am loyal", confirmed he had "not applied for the job" and that "people are questioning [his] integrity" by even suggesting he`d jump ship.

Is Rodgers ready to take up the mantle of being the next Steve Bruce - time will only tell but if he does go his talk of 'integrity` will make him look a right ol` mug!

It takes two to tango Doc and WFC Board had ample opportunity to turn down the approach from Reading (As Posh did) - so I guess the £1/2M proved too good to turn down. Losing a very talented young manager with good contacts is not good but it won't end there I'm afraid. Buck's previous comments were very carefully worded; at no point did he say he wouldn't take the job, I don't have a p[roblem with the man's integrity, his stay looks like being all too short, but also sweet and he turned the club around in fine style. He ho!

Sadly Jackett has just signed a new 3 year deal at the New Den....How about pinching Nigel Gibbs from Reading? After all he'll be out of a job in the next 24 hours with no-hoper Austin joining Disloyal Brendan at the Madjeski,
