Will Cork hit the road Jack?

Our old friends at the News of the World are at it again, suggesting that Jack Cork is to sign for Spurs in the summer for a princely sum of £2m…

And the reason that the Chelsea hot prospect would leave the comforts of Stamford Bridge for a bit part at White Hart Lane, well it`s simple isn`t it… Cork spent a year on loan at Bournemouth a few years back under the guidance of Spurs no 2 Kevin Bond - obviously!!!

Absolute poppycock. The NOTW should be ashamed of themselves.

VitalWatford have reason to believe that Cork, who incidently is reportedly loving life at Watford and thriving in the thick of first team action, could be set for a loan spell at a Premier League side based in the north west next season…

A return to Watford though has certainly not been ruled out.

i think watford should defently try get his signature,i don't know the in's and out's of the money we have,cork would be a good buy at that price,the one thing we can qurantee him his first team football,im sure he won't be a regular at spurs,defo not chelsea,we plan on being ambitious next season,if we do get promoted,we need someone of jack's calibre in midfield,now would be a great time to get hold of him,he has been tried and tested,and the extra money,would go along way,jack ticks all the right boxes of what we are looking for,what you think doc.can it be done?

Rodgers has already stated that there is a plan in place for Cork and he should know, lets face it if Brendon had not become WFC manager, he would probably have stayed at the Saints. Can we afford him? No way, he looks an ideal replacement for one of the ageing chelsea players

Let's be realistic. Spending £2m on Cork - or anybody for that matter - is just not an option, as Brendan will be forced to trim the wage bill and raise cash, not spend it. The best we can hope for is another loan agreement.

dont get us wrong eldive wed all love jack cork to sign permanently but hes rated at 2 million and and the russos have gone on record saying theyl be no more big money signings for the time being and that wel be scouring the lower leagues for players(cheap players)

sources close to VitalWatford reckon that Cork is going on loan to Bolton next season (doesn't his old man work on the coaching staff up there) . Then again he has just bought a house in St Albans so who knows.
