Priskin a happy Hornet - Rodgers
Watford boss Brendan Rodgers admits clubs are now "taking notice" of striker Tamas Priskin but insists the in-form Hungarian hitman "feels very happy at Watford" - whatever the player`s agent might think.
The Vicarage Road gaffer has also confirmed that "he`s heard nothing from Tamas" about wanting to move on at the end of the season despite Priskin`s agent reckoning that "it is very likely" that he will leave in the summer.
Jozsef Vorosbaranyi had said there were "10 to 15 teams" - including Fulham, Hull and Middlesborough - ready to pounce for Priskin… but once again the club have reiterated they have yet to receive any contact concerning the player (probably due to the fact that for 19 months of his spell in English footie, young Tam has been worse than rubbish).
But it`s ok as Rodgers reckons it`s a load of ol` balderdash by a meddling agent anyway insisting "there`s no drama - some agents will do work in certain ways and some will do it in a different way…you`ve just got to take it with a pinch of salt".
'No drama` it may be but the loss of an 13-goal striker in a summer which could see a number of big name departures such as McAnuff and Smith would be a massive blow for the Hornets.
Even the Hornets gaffer stated to the W`Observer that he expects "a number of our players will be linked" over the coming months but added we should all remain calm.
