Hornets linked to Bees hitman
Watford are rumoured to be lining up a summer swoop for bang in-form Barnet hitman John O`Flynn, according to a couple of redtops anyway (including the Star).
Former Irish U21 striker O`Flynn has only been at Underhill for 7 months since his switch from Cork City but has notched 17 goals in 30 starts for the Div 2 strugglers - enough for the Barnet Times to dub him "the new Guiliano Grazioli" [pictured above].
Ok, so sources reckon the Hornets will need to scrap it out with Ipswich for the North Irishmen`s signature but boy, his goalscoring reckon is pretty impressive.
66 in 138 games for Cork City playing alongside the likes of Reading`s right royal Kevin Doyle and Ray O`Donovan (currently plying his trade at Blackpool) speaks for itself.
And the good news is he`s hungry, insisting he`s in English football "to prove a point" - something that will go down well with fellow countryman Brendan Rodgers.
