Rodgers expects Rose to blossom
Watford snapped up Danny Rose on loan from Spurs yesterday "with a view to next season" and already Brendan Rodgers has high expectations for the budding young playmaking talent from White Hart Lane.
The exciting, attack minded left-sided midfielder, who is rumoured to have cost Spurs £1m when he moved from Leeds last year, is highly prized by Tottenham and is being "fast tracked" towards the first team according to our friends at VitalSpurs…
But Brendan Rodgers reckons he`s had his eye on ol` Danny boy for a little while. The gaffer told the official club site "He is highly thought of in this country and at the time I first looked at him he decided to stay at Leeds and then later on, went to Tottenham."
Of his new recruit, Brendan beamed "He is a highly talented, committed player and is left-sided. He has been on my radar for some time…As a footballer he has got a big talent".
And if that wasn`t enough, Brendan added
