Smithy off Cardiff's radar?

Smithy off Cardiff's radar?

Cardiff City might have other things on their mind ahead of the transfer window than pursuing a £1.6m enquiry in Watford playmaker Tommy Smith after admitting they`ve got a £3m deal in the making for an unknown striker.

Watford boss Brendan Rodgers has already rebuffed Cardiff`s initial interest in his fans favourite winger by insisting that £1.6m was nowhere near his valuation.

Now it appears that Cardiff might have moved on and are desperate to get paperwork completed in time to sign a mystery man (who everybody reckons is Hibs striker Steven Fletcher).

The Bluebirds have also snapped up winger Quincy Owusu Abeyie after his loan spell at Birmingham expired.

You know what Dave Jones…you really don`t need Tommy!!!!
