O'Toole traded in for Blades' £2m?

Yet another Hornet could be about to join Kevin Blackwell`s Blades after rumours surfaced that John Joe O`Toole could be about to join Sheffield United in a £2m move!

The free-scoring midfielder - who has been tracked by Fulham and Wolves for the past 2 months - is rumoured to be on his way to Bramall Lane before tomorrow night`s deadline.

OK so VitalWatford don`t usually deal in speculation (ed- we love it really) but Sheffield Utd fans site www.sheffieldunited-mad.co.uk reckon an unnamed source has told them that O`Toole was in Yorkshire yesterday for talks about a multi-million pound move…

Despite scoring a hatful of goals early on in the season, O`Toole has seen himself frozen out of first team action at Vicarage Road since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers.

The gaffer clearly doesn`t rate his all round ability enough to play him regularly and with Don Cowie due to sign from Cally as well as the sparkling form of Ross Jenkins we reluctantly have to admit that JJ is no more than a squad player these days…

£2m for a fringe player that Wolves don`t value at even half that? Sounds like a good bit of business to us here at VitalWatford - if it`s true that is!

If True, £2m is a great deal of money for someone not currently in the team. He's progressed rapidly and will continue to improve; but he's not the finished article at the moment and I suppose we need the money now. Heh ho.
