Ward no longer Watford bound
Wolves have once again loaned out centre back Darren Ward but sadly the uncompromising defender isn`t Watford bound.
Oh no, the strapping former Hornet, who was desperate to rejoin Watford in November, has been shipped out of Molineux to Charlton for the rest of the season and it won`t go down well with the Vicarage Road faithful.
Ward was an impressive tower of strength during the final dark days of Aidy Boothroyd`s reign and only Dele Abebola`s sharp elbow put pay to a lengthy loan spell in WD18.
Now Ward could come back to haunt the Hornets as he is just the type of man you`d want in a relegation scrap (as he proved with a cracking header in the 3-0 win over QPR).
Charlton`s gain is most definitely Watford`s loss.
