Rangers tickets set to go on sale

Tickets will go on sale to Season Ticket Holders from 1PM tomorrow (Friday), tickets will then become available to Members and Shareholders from Thursday 6 April, if any tickets are still available they will go on General Sale from Monday 17 April.

The match between the two Championship rivals takes place on April 22 at Loftus Road and if recent history is anything to go by, the match will produce plenty of goals. In the 2004/5 season Watford ran out 3-0 winners in the Sky-televised match but in the return leg at Loftus Road Ian Holloway’s side beat Ray Lewington’s outfit 3-1. This season Aidy Boothroyd’s rejuvenated Watford beat Rangers 3-1 in November.

The match also sees Clarke Carlisle, a former favorite among the Loftus Road faithful, return to West London. Winger Lee Cook, who left Vicarage Road in acrimonious circumstances in 2004, come up against his former club.

The traveling Yellow Army making the short trip to West London will be hoping that Aidy Boothroyd’s men put up a better performance than that of the Ray Lewington’s side’s pathetic performance against the West Londoners in the 3-1 defeat at Loftus Road last March.

Tickets are priced at £26 for adults, £16 for over-60s and £14 for under-16s.
