Watford shell out for more Brid-crab

Watford have extended the loan spell of Chelsea reserve captain and all round footballing crab, Liam Bridcott until the end of January - presumably to keep Brendan Rodgers happy.

The young Blues midfielder has made 7 appearances since joining in December but has already managed to split the Hornets faithful with his range of passing - mostly sideways and backwards.

Don`t get us wrong, Liam is a lovely chap and a decent footballer but playing pretty stuff on the edge of your own box with a defence as pourous as Watford`s simply isn`t an option during a Championship relegation scrap.

Enough of this nonsense! He's young and is learning his trade, but he's talented and is wearing our shirt, so let's just give him a fair chance and some encouragement rather than this continual sniping. He might well improve and other players might decide to join him to help us out. Alternatively keep up the current approach and we'll get what we deserve. How long before we start attacking the latest young loanee (Gavin Hoyte) ? Happy New Year!
