Defensive duties for Watford boss

Watford boss Brendan Rodgers will plough his time and effort into tidying up the Hornets backline with reinforcements when the January transfer window opens.

Whilst the Hornets have been scoring goals for fun this season (only Birmingham & Wolves have scored more), Rodgers is faced with finding solutions for the worst defense in the Championship - FACT.

But he`s gonna waste no time to seems - Rodgers told the Watford Observer "…defensively we are on or two bodies down so, for sure, it is an area that we need to ensure we have cover and enough support there going into the second half.'

He added "We are a bit short in terms of defensive cover and I always want to bring quality into here - There have been a number of boys we are looking at".

'Boys' huh? So no experienced head or veteran stalwart to do the Mackay job?

What price on Michael Mancienne being dragged kicking and screaming from Molineux or even Jack Cork finding his way north from his loan spell at Southampton then?
